There was this one time when Eddie was sure Buck felt the same way as him.
Buck was sitting up and leaning against the headboard, feet outstretched and crossed, phone in his hands. If you asked Eddie, he looked perfect. Eddie was lying on his stomach, facing him, feet hanging off the edge of the bed. He was reading an email from Christopher’s school and placed his phone down with a heavy sigh. Buck made this noise like a wounded animal, he made it all the time. Quiet but caring. A simple question of “Are you okay? What’s happened? You can tell me if you want to but I won’t pressure you.”
