Changbin's eyes flutter open. They're still a little wet, shining prettily. He's flushed, and smiling, and he looks so happy. He reaches for Hyunjin's face, and runs a thumb down his cheek.
"I love you."
Hyunjin swallows. He opens his mouth.
He closes it again, and watches Changbin's face start to fall.
I love you, Hyunjin thinks. It's right there, on the tip of his tongue. He's said it a thousand times before, so why is it so hard this time?
Hyunjin and Changbin are perfect, until they’re not.

She looks so miserable right now, so certain that she’s unsexy and undesirable, and Felix just can’t stand it. She lets out a slow breath, and makes a decision.
“Do you know what the first thing I thought when you walked out of the bedroom right now was?” Felix asks softly, reaching up to swipe away the tears beading along Seungmin’s lower lash line. Seungmin just shakes her head. “It was that I have never in my life wanted to fuck you more than I do right now.”
Another shitty date, another crying session on the couch, the final straw on the proverbial camel's back. If no one else will treat Seungmin right, then Felix will just have to do it herself.

"It’s Sticker,” Seungmin interjects. “That’s what’s wrong with the entire playlist, actually. It’s just Sticker, again and again.”
“As in—Sticker by NCT 127?” Jisung tries not to let the horror creep into his voice.
Seungmin nods tiredly.
“And when you say the whole playlist…”
“I mean that the whole playlist is just Sticker on repeat,” Seungmin confirms.
“Okay,” Jisung says, trying not to let any emotions show on his face. “Okay. Minho-ssi, can I ask why your… sex playlist is just Sticker on repeat?”
“It’s a good song.”
Lee Minho and Kim Seungmin are already two of Jisung's most difficult clients, and then he has to go and catch feelings for them too.

Summary
Seungmin reflexively tightens his grip on the pen as he frantically tries to remember how to do his job, and the man glances down at the movement, then freezes as sees the sticky note. One perfectly sculpted brow arches up.
“Is that me?” he asks.
Seungmin looks down as well, at the half-finished doodle of the man’s face.
“Ah,” he says, praying the ground will open up and swallow him whole. “It seems to be, yeah.”
Two and a half years post graduation, Seungmin’s art degree sits and collects dust as he drags himself through the stagnant monotony of adulthood. Cue the arrival of one Lee Minho, who might be just the spark Seungmin needs to finally move forward.

“You could find your mate first, and I’d be in the same boat,” Minho argues, and Seungmin bites his lip and shakes his head. “I’ve found them,” Seungmin says, and he knows with absolute certainty that he’s correct. Minho eyes widen, and his mouth opens like he’s about to speak, but no words come out. This was the reaction Seungmin was looking for months ago, and it makes him ache. “They didn’t say my words,” Seungmin says, shrugging like it’s no big deal. He shrugs like he hasn’t been waiting his whole life for the kind of love a soulmate can give. True and unconditional, well, on the condition you love them back the same way. Seungmin has always wanted to love and to be loved like that.
But it’s crumbling right in front of his eyes.

Summary
Most people, when they interact with an AI as sophisticated as Seungmin, tend to think one of two things: one, that he is a boy doing a bad job at being a machine; or two, that he is a machine doing a bad job at being a boy.
But Seungmin knows better.
He is not supposed to think about anything beyond what is necessary for human communication and station operations, but he does.
