Summary
Riku has returned to his hometown after completing college, hoping to repair his relationship with his former friends. Sora is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for a local post-punk/garage rock band known as The Heart Hotel.
After a terrible falling-out four years ago, the two are reunited, but their reunion doesn't go as smoothly as Riku had hoped.

A comfortable silence passed between them as they gazed at the Earth below. Orbiting over East Asia at dusk, the civilization beneath them emitted a warm glow. Lights dotted the landscape, concentrated in major cities and extending like veins across rural areas, pulsing and glimmering with life.
Riku looked over to Sora. While the perspective of the planet beneath his feet had been magnificent, Riku realized the most breathtaking view was in the reflection of Sora's eyes. Nothing could compare.
ASTRONAUT AU!
Sora is an enthusiastic environmental scientist, while Riku is a reserved engineer. Both are stationed on the International Space Station, orbiting the Earth in close quarters for the next six months.
