Summary
During Umbridge's time as a teacher in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Ministry of Magic decided to add a muggle subject for the students, choosing a safe subject that involved no magic, and just pure imagination— painting. Although Umbridge was against it, Fudge insisted for the subject, saying that it would keep attention away from the incident regarding Harry Potter and Cedric Diggory, the tragic event that happened in Harry's fourth year. And so, the students had a painting class, and Umbridge was to teach it, alongside her current subject, Defense Against the Dark Arts.
