Summary
Gale has this bad habit of shutting himself off after a particularly long day and Astarion hates it. All high and mighty he will saunter off towards his tent and engulf it in Darkness, draping it in Zone of Silence. It infuriates Astarion to no end, and so he sets out to let the wizard reap his due reward. Getting into his tent would be effortless.
(The first thing he hears are soft, almost whining pants, followed by a high pitched moan.)

Summary
They turn around to face him now, red eyes flitting between his own. He holds a hand against a shoulder, dagger pointed towards their chin (a command: stay still, don’t talk), as fingers migrate down their bare chest, over the protruding ribs, raking over an exposed hipbone. Astarion is not ignorant to his own physique; that he can take in without the help of a mirror, but there’s something about seeing his emaciated body as if he is looking upon another person entirely. It’s pity, he tries not to acknowledge— pity that has him touching the double as if they are something precious.
Or: Astarion finds a mirror of duplication, and finally gets a good, long overdue look at himself.

Summary
Kiss is a stupid word. It doesn’t have the brutal efficiency of fuck. If you say that you have recently fucked, everyone knows what that means. Kiss, on the other hand, implies some… saccharine, disgusting little fantasy. It’s a word that conjures pictures of twee pecks on the cheek, platonic gestures of affection. It is a word that belongs to the same euphemistic category as sleeping together, as (ugh) making love. It is a word that lacks hunger, physicality, consummation.
It is not an inaccurate description of what he and Wyll do in Wyll’s tent.
Astarion discovers that some things are easier said (or involuntarily shared via an illithid parasite's psychic connection) than done.

Gale’s face fell, crumpled in grief as he bowed his head. “It could very well be my last night alive. I wanted it to be under a canopy of beauty and wonder. The expanse of the universe… with you at my side.”
The butterflies in Wyll’s stomach turned to something fiercer, a fiery determination. “This will not be your last night alive. We will find another way.”
Gale looked up at him, the grief on his face replaced with a grim resignation. “Thank you. But even if there’s another way… I can’t help but feel that this might be the right way. It would atone for all the mistakes I’ve made, give my death purpose.”
Wyll shook his head, his determination only growing with every word Gale spoke. “You can’t seriously be considering doing this!”
“Of course I am,” Gale replied. “The entire world is at stake, and we have been handed the means to save it on a silver platter. I’ll not pretend I relish the idea–”
“Gale, stop,” Wyll commanded. “I won’t let you!”

All things considered, Hog didn’t much care whether Junkrat talked or not. The hours spent slowly eating up ground in the middle of nowhere were just as meaningless with or without chatter, and if Roadhog was entirely honest with himself he probably enjoyed the constant buzz of noise from the skinny man beside him.
