“Mr. Winchester,” Castiel said through gritted teeth. He ran his hand on his thick hair, “It’s a Monday, and if you hate Mondays, believe me, I have lived the hell through it. My entire week is always Monday. My Saturday is Monday! And today, my house, my sanctuary the only place I can rest is sabotaged by my neighbor's cat! Believe me, waking up with that awful smell pisses me more than you can imagine so yes, you'll be listening to me being pissy. No one is having a good time, I know, not with the dump hiding in my ceiling! And I know it's not a typical service, but I’ve been rejected by three others so if you reject me now, god knows I'll burn this house down—”
“Whoa, hey, chill.” The deep voice sounded sharp. "I'm not the one losing a house!"
“At least realtors wouldn't keep me waiting! And I've got a spacious car,” he injected dramatically.
“That’s gonna be a pain in the neck.” Man, did this Dean just laugh at him? Castiel was glad he was being taken seriously as he pressed heavy fingertips on the bridge of his nose.
“I’m hanging up—” he snapped.
“What—hey—I thought you wanted help—?”
"You're obviously not one!"

Summary
When Dean came with the Equalizer on his hand in the graveyard, Cas knew Jack should start running. Ready to face his best friend, Castiel made a stand, but Jack had other plans. Taking Castiel by the shoulder, Jack unfolded his wings just as Castiel looked back at Dean for a final plea. He saw Dean raise the gun in rage and pull the trigger just as Jack took him away to safety. But not quick enough. Leaving Castiel with a memory and pain that would give the angel nightmares forever.
Or how the two try to move from the wrecking past and where Dean finds himself drawn to Cas as Cas finds himself unable to refuse the hunter, but what's new?

Summary

Castiel had been Changed three years ago. Three years in which he had constantly struggled with his fate as a werewolf. To his dismay, he had turned into an omega; and he was still appalled that every alpha seemed to expect him to bow down and act submissive. Because he was not.
Just when his life was about to end, most violently because he had disobeyed his pack alpha, the Father of Wolves saved him and ordered Castiel to switch packs once again. It would be the third in just as many years. Rolling his eyes as Sam excitedly made his way to a booth selling what looked like weeds as far as the alpha was concerned, Dean started wandering in the opposite direction. Wrinkling his nose in horror at an older lady selling hideous crafts made out of freaking corn husks (do people even buy crap like that?), he was suddenly hit by the most delicious scent ever. He knew he recognized it from somewhere, but he just couldn’t place it. It was sweet and thick, and even had him drooling a little from how good it smelled.

Summary
Dean’s lip wobbles at the sound of his own young voice. This has never happened before. He never gets out of the house. So he watches with rapt attention as his child-self walks with the dog across the wood of the porch without any sort of acknowledgment of Dean’s grown presence. “Thank you for saving me, pup. You’re funny. Funny-looking pup.”
It’s strange because although the dog has a certain aura about it, it just looks like a stray. The mystery of what his younger self is referring to is answered quickly when the dog raises its head as the two of them walk past the grown Dean in order to get to the stairs that lead down from the porch to the front yard. It stares right at Dean for that pinpoint second. Its eyes are blue down the straight line of its muzzle.

Summary
Zoro doesn’t mean to hide his wound, he just has other things on his mind that are more important, and he has years of practice in minimizing his own pain. He’s taken down the second in command of the enemy ship, not without spilling his own blood, when he hears a cry. He turns in time to see Luffy when he falls backwards, and his heart drops in his chest when the spear follows into the water, into his other half. Zoro dives in after him immediately, the sight of Luffy’s wound taking precedence. In the murky waters his own wound burns from the salt, but he pushes himself hard, swimming to Luffy’s limp form, and kicking the water with everything he has to drag the two of them both to the surface. He’s not sure whether it’s better or worse that the spear has gone straight through Luffy, leaving a gaping wound but at least no projectile still lodged in him to make it any harder to resurface.
