They had never meant it to be like this, four vampires and one human. It was hard enough to keep things hidden, sneaking into blood banks, one night stands just to get a bite, blackout curtains on every window, it was easier to stay just the 4 of them.
But then that damn guy covered in ink and smelling like cigarettes had to come in and change it all. Gerard couldn't help himself from getting attached.
They could keep it hidden. Frankie didn't need to know. It could have been so easy.
But humans are so fragile, Gerard had forgotten that.
How the fuck was he supposed to not fall for him? And how the fuck was he gonna keep him alive?
