Summary
Levi's taken it upon himself to raise his orphaned cousin, Mikasa. It’s the night before a mission so dangerous, even Commander Erwin drinks himself to the bottom of a bottle, somehow convinced by Hange to lead his most trusted soldiers through titan territory. And, well, what could soften the blow a little like hosting a quaint dinner party for his most beloved comrades? Wined, dined, and essentially told they’re going to die. High tensions make great discussions about unrequited feelings, even if you aren't a willing participant.

Chunks of beef and pale spaghetti noodles clog the kitchen sink. With the chipped nail of her index finger, Petra digs out the sludge. The bottom of the sink is stained with dried NyQuil. She thinks of a map, the red spots like archipelagos surrounded by a dirty meat-ball ocean. A treasure map for her hang-over. Can you locate the mess? Is that clump all spaghetti or a tinted mixture of vomit and meatballs?
She turns on the faucet and the water comes down scalding on her knuckles. It tingles before it burns.
