    This is one of my favorites from this fandom because unlike most of the rest of them this one is not seriously depressing or featuring someone getting raped. That being said, I love the rather Machiavellian plotting that goes on juxtaposed with the almost sweet partnership/friendship/relationship that develops. It’s a feel-good story if a prison story could ever be feel good.

    This is just marvelous. I love seeing Jeeves in a place where he is on equal social footing as Bertie. And as always Bertie is so wonderfully brave and good. You would think that with the differences in their mental powers Jeeves would be the one settling, but Bertie shows himself to really be something special.

    Jeeves gets the wrong end of the stick (which almost never happens but is great because it makes him human) and Bertie’s got no idea what’s up (which is totally normal but he’s still trying to do right by everybody).

    Newt's time with the PPDC mostly involved trying not to jinx his Muggle lab partner, resisting the urge to let his tattoos move on their own, slipping potions in Hermann's tea, pining for his dragons, failing to keep a secret (multiple times), saving the world, and maybe falling a little bit in love. Amongst other things.

    The AU in which Newt is a wizard and sucks at hiding it.

    I love that the Jaeger program is entirely Muggle, just science, and ingenuity, and I can see why Newt would be enthralled. I also love all the glimpses into Newt’s past. Hermann is perfect and his calm reaction to magic right up until Newt does something as simple as clean his clothes off, is priceless.
