Shi Qingxuan wonders when they will see his true self, or if they will see it at all. Black Water Sinking Ships is a man who has lived on by hiding in plain sight; always there but never truly. It doesn’t hurt like Shi Qingxuan thinks it should, the lack of transparency, but instead it makes them long for more. Makes them want to break him down and admire each piece of him, like what was once done to them. They want to know all of him.
But Shi Qingxuan says none of this.

Summary
When Luo Binghe approaches Liu Qingge with an offer to accompany him, he considers it first with suspicion, then confusion as Binghe details what they’ll be doing— there’ll be no monsters! Why would you bring him along?— and then a resigned sigh, when he mentioned Shen Qingqiu and how he had specifically requested he go along to make sure Binghe makes it through without any issue.
Of course, when he hears this, he agrees immediately, preparing himself for tortuous hours spent next to that demon, who doesn’t know how to keep his mouth shut or his hands to himself.
Luo Binghe and Liu Qingge hunt for a special flower, and get a whole lot more out of it than they expected.
