Alternatively: War has left Naruto feeling hollowed. At a loss of what he really wants, and whether what he initially thought he wanted is actually what he needs. Sasuke is due to be home soon. And if anyone could ever help Naruto make sense and level with where he was coming from, it was always Sasuke.
