Summary
During a hot summer at the Xavier Institute, Peter wakes up and spends the day as he normally does: prepping the school for the return of the students, spending quality time with his teammates, delaying telling Erik that they’re related, and going on a mission to rescue mutants from an experimental government facility. Unlike any other day however, he makes an error in judgment that results in him dying a horrible death.
The next morning, he wakes up to find that none of that has happened, and he’s reliving the very same day all over again.

Summary
Ghost knows that the 141 is full of people not strictly human. It's not a big deal. In fact, mostly nobody talks about it. Ghost himself isn't purely human. When Soap told him that he was selkie, Ghost just assumed he meant "part-selkie."
Ghost was wrong. And when he accidentally picks up Soap's coat, he learns the hard way how bad of an assumption that was to make.
A role-reversal blatantly stealing ideas from EvanescentDreamer's "On Your Wavelength" series.

Ghost swallowed the grape before responding. "Why are you so obsessed with my face?"
"I'm not... obsessed." Soap scoffed, his cheeks definitely flushed. "I'm just naturally curious. But hey, it's all teasing, I know you must have your reasons. Can't blame me for trying though, you're just so..." he made a vague gesture.
"So... what?" Ghost slipped in another grape.
"I don't know, erotically mysterious." Soap blurted out and Ghost choked on the fruit.- Language:

Ghost didn't even blink at that, fully stepping out of the small shadow that had been partially obscuring his bulk. He was geared up as usual, if usual meant having to take on an entire platoon by himself.
"I would like to see them try", he rumbled.

Summary
No comms and no time. The word run had barely escaped his lips before the first grenade went off. Soap felt the explosion more than heard it, the shockwave sending him flying to a nearby wall followed by a heat so fierce down his left arm that it felt like he had dipped it into a pot of molten lava. The scream he's sure he let out was overpowered by the roar of the explosion as it finally reached him.
Then came the shaking and shuddering of the old building they were in, as it gave one last unholy groan before everything around them was suddenly collapsing down around them. The last thing Soap had heard was the screams of his team before a piece of concrete came down and hit him in the head, turning the world in front of him black. His last thoughts were that of a tall, broad shouldered-man with a masked face.
I'm sorry, Simon.

Summary
His pace quickened when he first saw it - an abandoned tactical vest. It stood out against the snowy expanse like a bloodied nose - something that demanded attention. It called out to him as though this single article of clothing could tell him everything that had gone wrong so, so quickly.
Except it wasn’t just a vest.
He knelt down beside a winter coat that had a sizable tear in the back from where blood had seeped into the innermost fur lining.
An undershirt was next. Two, actually, as he recalled Price’s stubborn insistence that they had to bundle up tight as mummies in order to survive. Layers were key.
So why had Soap taken his off?
Ghost felt trepidation well in the pit of his stomach as he collected article after article of abandoned clothing. Some were significantly more brutalized than others. He might have even missed the lost scarf due to it having snagged itself on a tree branch.
Belt, pants, socks…
