Summary
Vi looked at the scene in horror, frozen in place, and Jayce was soon behind her, looking over her shoulder at the scene playing out in front of him.
A woman in an enforcer uniform he distantly recognised was tackling a small child, no doubt the person who the cries came from, tearing the girl away from another girl lying prone next to the monster, her back badly burned and her legs no doubt fractured. The child clung to the leather top the older girl was wearing, tearing it from where it had melted into the skin, kicking and screaming as the enforcer tried to throw her off, snarling in fury and reaching for her gun.
Or; Jinx tries to sacrifice herself to protect Isha, and Caitlyn has not forgotten the past. This changes things.
