Falling doesn't have to be from changing sides. It doesn't have to even be a choice to not be what they are any longer. Sometimes if they are wounded too gravely, they will never get back up. And it's in those times that there is no going back. All they can do is fall to the human world to quietly die or accept humanity.
Jimin fought. He fought with everything he had. It just wasn't enough. So he fell.
He's been in a hospital for a long time. So long, he doesn't know the length of time. Lost and cold in isolation, he hoped that someday he'd just fade away. He just might have, if a human hadn't decided to get close to him and visit him. Sometimes, the angel in you doesn't die, even if you fall.

It was a combination of things, really, that lead to the fall. It always is.
Yoongi's deep inside of him, forcing his back to arch.
"So pretty, Jimin-ah," he groans, hands skimming down Jimin’s body.
The praise doesn't set him on fire the way it normally does, the coil in his abdomen feels less like arousal and more like some sort of dread. A dead weight. He screws his eyes shut.
"So pretty for me, baby," Yoongi whispers right into his ear.

Yoongi turned to the other side of the mattress discovering an empty spot and ruffled up sheets. He touched the uneven fabric, cold under his fingertips. Upon reaching the pillow, his hand caught upon a sticky yellow post-it. He didn’t have to read it to know what it said, nor could he in this darkness so he just crumpled it up in his hand and threw it to the floor angrily.
“You’re welcome…” he said to himself out loud, covering his face with his palms. No matter how many times he told himself a situation like this is never going to happen again, there he was – lying in his cold improvised bed with a headache and soreness between his legs.
