Summary
By instruction, the class all dipped forward, their right legs lifting high in the air behind them. It was all synchronised balance, all sharp and soft lines. Remus had never watched ballet, but he found it captivatingly beautiful in its easy elegance and quiet strength. He watched the graceful boy who didn’t waver when a few other students did. Who cares if boys don’t do ballet, he thought. He’s the best one there.
*
Or, where Remus gets into a bit too many fights, running from these fights brings him to his favourite record store and the ballet studio behind it, and a subsequent friendship that carries him through the years.

Summary
A flicker of confusion crossed Sirius' face.
"A deatheater," he repeated.
Remus met his gaze. "What?"
"You've called me that twice now. Why is that?"
"Well, you serve under the Dark Lord's command, do you not?"

Sirius Black had never questioned the cause he had spent seventeen years of his life fighting for. The rules were simple: purge the Impure, restore the magic, and trust in The Covenant.
But when a soldier from The Order is captured - a creature, they say, a monster - Sirius is tasked with extracting secrets from it. He expects to find a creature worthy of fear, but instead he meets a boy, who speaks of a better life, ancient magic, and history that Sirius has never dared to question.
The boy in the cell is not what Sirius had expected.
And it is not Remus Lupin who breaks first.Bookmarked by jaidbx

When Remus flees Greyback's ship and tries to forge a new life for himself, it's just his luck that Sirius finds him there too. But Sirius has never seen Remus' face. He doesn't know of Remus' true identity - that 'Moony' is the same pirate he considers his enemy.
To survive, Remus must hide who he really is, even if it means suffering the company of a man he'd rather kill.

Summary
When Sirius’ bassist fails to show up at their most important gig yet, he is forced to let a last-minute substitute bassist join them on stage, even if merely looking at said (tall and mysterious) substitute bassist makes his blood boil for some reason.
When Remus formally joins the band, The Marauders start their journey of seeking a Record Label to sign them, and messily rise to stardom while they figure themselves out.
* The story follows the boys as they gain traction in the late 70s London scene, get signed by a record label to record their first album, and go on tour as openers for a bigger artist as they rise.
Expect all sorts of crazy rockstar stuff in there, ya know: groupies, drugs, destruction of private property, lots of sex, inner-band conflict, interviews, stage fights…
Fuck JKR.

Summary
“If you could go anywhere in the universe right now, where would you go?”
Remus chews the inside of his cheek as he considers. He glances sideways at Sirius again. Reclined in the passenger seat with his feet kicked up on the dashboard, tapping the beat to the music, Sirius looks completely at home.
Here, probably, he thinks.
UK, 1977. Remus had a plan. He was going to take an idyllic road trip across America with his best friend. He was going to write something that mattered. He wasn't going to be what his dad wanted him to be.
Getting bitten by a zombie dog wasn't part of his plan.
Now, Remus is parentless, homeless, and searching for his friend on the off-chance he’s still out there. But as it happens, the universe has a plan for him, and it involves hitching a ride with a trio of posh boys who like to plunder fallen towns...and maybe saving humanity in the process.
It’s the zombie fucking apocalypse and Remus Lupin is still alive.
(A tale of resistance, found family, and what it means to be human.)

Summary
“It’ll take some time to get it right,” said Remus, rubbing at his eyes, “and I probably need a N.E.W.T.-level charms book. In the meantime, what do you reckon the password should be?”
James cleared his throat, raising a hand in grave salute as if he were being sworn in as Supreme Mugwump. “How about, I, a veritable Marauder of the highest order, solemnly swear that this most troublesome artifact shall be used in the name of highest mischief, until which time said mischief has been managed.”
Remus gave James a bemused look. “You think the password ought to be, I, a Marauder, solemnly—”
“I, a veritable Maruader of the highest order,” James corrected.
“All right, you think it should be, I, a veritable Marauder of the highest order, solemnly swear that… er…What was the rest of it?”
“What a stupid password,” Sirius interjected before James could offer Remus the rest. “How about just, I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.”
“Fine,” said James begrudgingly, “but we need a password to clear the map off, too. How about, I hereby proclaim that—”
“How about, Mischief managed,” Remus interrupted.
James frowned. “I dunno…where’s the ceremony? Where’s the flair?”
