Summary
The first thought that Suguru had upon meeting the Satoru Gojo was that he was beautiful. Ethereal, even. The kind of pretty that comes without even trying, all soft lips and long white lashes. The kind of stunning that’s impossible to deny, messy platinum hair and a piercing gaze that is enough to pin those with even the strongest of wills beneath the weight of his knowing, judgmental stare.
The second, more prominent, and honestly much more pressing thought that Suguru had when he first met Satoru Gojo was that he was fucking annoying.
Suguru stands by that secondary statement more than ever now. Left to deal with him alone in a suffocatingly small classroom, his patience wearing thin and a headache beginning to bloom between his temples.
“The fuck do you mean you ‘don’t need’ my help?”

“Us.” Satoru admits.
There’s a pause. Satoru slowly, slowly opens his eyes and peeks at Suguru.
He is smiling, cheeks dusted with pink. Suguru turns his head and gazes at Satoru, his bangs falling over his eye. Satoru reaches out and tucks them behind Suguru’s ear, letting his fingers trace over the round top of Suguru’s ear to the stretched lobe below. Suguru leans into his hand and says, “I was thinking the same thing.”

When Suguru enrolled in the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, Yaga cautioned him about several things. He warned him about the dangers, about the sacrifices he would have to make, and about the life he would leave behind if he chose this path. He also warned him about the rigorous training that he would have to undergo and about the pain it would bring. He even told him everything about the early death awaiting him.
However, he did not warn him about his new insufferable classmate.
A canon-divergent retelling of Satoru and Suguru's relationship, from the day they met back in 2005 to wherever their story could have led them if only they had made the right choices.
28/09/24: As they now no longer meet my standards regarding my own writing, the first few chapters of this fic will be rewritten. The story will remain unchanged, but the writing will be improved.

Huh?
“Excuse me?” Asked a little confused Suguru.
The guy cleared his throat and repeated, now more accusatory. “You!”
“Me…what exactly?” He raised his eyebrow, still having no idea what was going on.
“You’re the one that ran into me this morning!” The client took off his glasses and pointed them at him.
Normally Suguru would just say “Sorry” or “I didn’t mean to, here, a coffee on the house.” But now his voice was stuck in his throat, and his brain short circuited.
Why of all people on the campus he had to run into the most gorgeous one?

Can he figure out how to move on, or will his past catch up to him and ruin this second chance?

Summary
Saving the world from being possessed and destroyed by a narcissistic super-tyrant is one thing, but fixing the world afterward is a whole other beast. Large portions of the Boiling Isles are either destroyed or significantly altered, families are separated, and an entire nation of witches is left without guidance or a leader to turn to. To put it simply, the immediate threat has been quelled, but the aftermath brings with it a whole host of other issues rearing their ugly heads.
There couldn’t be a more difficult time to be a young witch. Yet, now the Hexsquad and co find themselves faced not only with navigating the whole “growing up” thing, but now also feel the weight of responsibility toward saving their entire world. Again. Emperor Belos is finally dead, but the physical, psychological, and sociopolitical damage he’s caused will outlive him for years.
Hunter feels responsible for much of this damage, as the guilt of his days as Golden Guard claw at the back of his mind. He wants to prove to himself, his friends, and the isles that he can and will be different. But, where to even start? How can you prove yourself when you don’t even know what or who you are to begin with?
