Eijirou fucking Kirishima
Perched on the dunk tank’s rickety metal seat like it was a throne made for him and him alone. His shirt was already almost soaked through, a faded red Property of Belleville High Wrestling Team tank that clung to his chest in a way Katsuki absolutely did not notice. And his hair was plastered to his cheeks, bright and dripping and so obnoxiously red it felt like a warning flare. Everything about him screamed DANGER DO NOT TOUCH DO NOT THINK DO NOT FEEL.
So, of course, Katsuki proceeded to do all three.
Or; The summer Katsuki Bakugou returned to the Strawberry Festival to help his dad sell shortcake and tried really hard not to look two booths down at the dunk tank boy with red hair and the loudest laugh he ever heard.

Refusing to dwell on it any further, Andrew reached for a piece of chocolate from the tray and bit into it, letting the sweetness melt across his tongue.
It was smooth, rich, indulgent—easily the best chocolate he’d had in his eighteen years of life. Annoyingly so. He had to lock his jaw to keep from reacting, catching himself just in time. His throat worked around the swallow, silently choking down the sound that nearly escaped him.
“It’s fine,” he said flatly, like the chocolate hadn’t just tried to ruin his dignity.
Neil’s lips twitched—as if he knew—the almost-smile was there before he caught himself, schooling his expression.
Bee noticed too—of course she did. “Neil made those. He’s been working on perfecting the recipe all week.”
The pink that spread across Neil’s cheeks was immediate and unmissable—warm and bright against the freckles dusting his skin. Andrew’s fingers twitched at his side with the sudden, ridiculous urge to reach out and trace the color with his thumb, just to see what that blush would do under pressure.

Maybe it's the unacceptable hole left in his life when his dumb best friend and partner in (the prevention of) crime decided to go and get himself killed. Maybe it's his brother, whose high-profile career and fantastic girlfriend and first-child-on-the-way are steadily leaving Dean in the dust. Pick one. Pick all of them. The why doesn't matter so much as the what, and the what is this: Dean is pretty sure he's going completely, certifiably insane. Sure, he hasn't started wearing all his clothes inside out, and he still showers on a regular basis (anyways, that's not crazy, just a little eccentric); but there's no getting around the fact that he just threw away his life, his career, and his reputation by dragging out his mom's old necromancy book and summoning a Class A Forbidden Entity to his attic. A cranky one, too. With horrendous bed-head.

Neil is joking, of course. He ignores the small twinge his own words inspire in him, because there’s no use in feeling it. Neil met Andrew on the roof of the campus gym last summer, and it was only weeks before he’d discovered that kissing could actually be kind of fun. Andrew kept showing him other things that were fun — so many other things, so fun — but throughout it all, Neil has remembered where he stands. “Don’t think that this is something that it's not,” Andrew had said, seconds after he’d wiped Neil’s spit off his lips that first night.
This is something, though — something Neil wants to keep.

By the door, Kevin rolls his eyes, then does a two-fingered salute: flippant and easy, like if a smirk was a hand movement. Aaron can’t decide if he wants to strangle him or fuck him, so he huffs instead and tugs him down by the shirt, pulling him into a kiss.
Kevin’s eyes are warm when they break apart, smiling easy, the way Aaron would have thought impossible of the boy he met all those years ago when Andrew dragged a stray into their room and pointed at him, then Aaron, then Nicky, like, he’s ours now.
It strikes Aaron then, with Kevin just looking at him, face close, eyes warm, lips brushing. He still looks tired, but he grins once more at Aaron before ducking out the door, pulling it shut behind him.
Aaron stays exactly where he is, staring at the door in sudden dismay. This was not the plan. This was not remotely the plan.
“Well,” he says. “Fuck.”
Aaron Minyard thinks about Kevin Day, has feelings, and is extremely bad at dealing with them, mostly in that order.
