Hikaru watches him struggle to even touch the top of his head, then lights up and suggests, “Hey, why don’t I do it?”
“Do what?” Yoshiki mumbles, still preoccupied with figuring out the best way to go about showering.
“Wash your hair.”
Yoshiki keeps fidgeting with his hair for a second before he actually hears Hikaru, at which point he lowers his hands and turns around agonizingly slowly, like a rusted hinge that screeches when moved. “…What?"

Sonic and Shadow finally face the truth of their feelings after a gentle nudge from their friends. It's going to take some time for them to adjust to their newfound relationship. There's old boundaries to discuss, new emotions to explore, and the constant threat of enemies exploiting their weakness for one another if word gets out. It's a challenge neither Sonic or Shadow ever expected to deal with. Yet, neither would change it for the world.
