Arturs never thought about facing the exact same kind of this. But, apparently there is still more ‘room for improvement’.

It's just, the All-Stars are always up to something. Well, definitely not because of some defenseman only decides to make it all about him.

Lance just got out of the Zoom interview with the British media, having no reins about his responses, and Lawrence just let it, if not encourages it. Because it's just about Nando.

In the end, six years ago, Hugh does what he should have done in the tavern. He follows. He holds on.

me too author, me too. these boys... i dunno, something about their professional secrecy and Hugh's barely contained panic and joy compared to Paul's poker face. Exquisite.

Summary
But no longer was there that organic pull towards the true North, back to Oxford, and further up the nation to Nottingham and Sheffield and York, and beyond England up to Scotland and the North Pole.
No, the pull had shifted, the string now coming through his occipitomastoid suture, between his right occipital and temporal bones. It pulled him back, weighed on his skull like a particularly agonizing headache, pulled him in such a way to the South-East he felt certain that he would topple over with the force of it all.
If Hugh was a compass, then Paul was a magnet, his allure stronger than that of the Earths.

Summary
The Metros really were lousy at hockey. Shane Hollander was the only talent they had, which was why they threw the C on his chest before they even made it to the All Star break. The Raiders hadn’t given Ilya even an A yet. Coach had taken him aside and told him they weren’t going to think about a leadership role on the team until he’d finished his rookie year. He had enough to deal with, Coach said, which was nicer than saying Ilya was still nineteen, and his English sucked shit, and they weren’t quite done being worried about “character issues.”
Ilya Rozanov’s rookie year reimagined by someone with serious hockey-watcher brainrot.

“So,” Hayden asks, “do you only date girls named after flowers, or?”
Shane blushes as he buttons his shirt. “Fuck off,” he says, without much venom, which probably means his meeting with Lily went way better than last time.
(Hayden Pike attempts to solve the mystery of Boston Lily.)

Summary
“Every world champion cheated, mate. Every single one of them,” Mark Webber said last year, like he’d finally let Oscar in on a secret.
“It’s not the kind they can write rules for. The kind the FIA doesn’t even know how to regulate. If you want to be one of them, figure out how they did it, and do it better.”
A magical retelling of Oscar Piastri's first championship year.
