Summary
Fyodor is eight, when he meets Dazai. He’s at a chess tournament and Dazai is the only one who has made it worth it. Made it interesting. He’s the only one who is playing at the same level as Fyodor. Fyodor loves chess but he hasn’t felt challenged in what seems like a long time. Not until Dazai, that is.
They’re in the final game. Dazai and Fyodor are two children lost in a world that has nothing to do with anyone but them. Dazai has one of his eyes covered with a bandage. His hair is almost but exactly not the same color as Fyodor’s. He plays aggressively and recklessly and so carefully measured Fyodor feels it all the way to his toes, swinging in their too tight shoes, unable to touch the ground.
They draw.
“I’m Dazai.” Dazai says afterward. Like Fyodor, English is slightly stilted on Dazai’s tongue, rounded awkwardly around different syllables than it should be.
“I’m Fyodor.” Fyodor responds. Dazai mouths Fyodor’s name to himself. “It’s Russian.” Fyodor explains quietly, used to other children not being able to say his name, teasing him.
“Fyodor.” Dazai repeats. “You’re good at chess.” He adds bluntly.
Fyodor feels something stronger than happiness, quiet and content, low in his soul.

Summary
"They broke abruptly, gasping for air. As soon as the kiss subsided, a warm glow ignited in Dazai’s core. Dazai’s mind buzzed from the rush, adrenaline pumping into his bloodstream as he caught a glimpse of the mirror in his peripherals. Fyodor’s thighs spread as open as angel wings, moonlight washing over his bare skin—Dazai couldn’t bear to miss another view like this. Especially when he got to play the lead."

Dazai never considered how useful a mirror could be during sex until he seized the opportunity to utilize it with Fyodor.

Summary
fyodor is socially constipated, possibly a cryptid, may or may not have killed someone (it was an accident, shhh..)
dazai tho is loud, dramatic, sings bad songs, robbed a mcdonald’s and brags about it. they hate each other. now they’re stuck in the same room every morning, forced to run school announcements and not commit crimes (again).
It’s a slow burn. It’s stupid. There’s blood, bad flirting, and probably trauma.
do they fall in love? maybe. do they fix the announcements system? naahhh... 🙏PS: this was kind of an old story saved in my notes, hence why i post chpaters so fast . i js edit it a little and post it

Summary
After Aziraphale’s decision, Crowley chooses coffee, not death. Life goes, painfully, on, and Crowley does his best to adapt to his new lonely existence.
It hurts. Until it suddenly doesn’t.
