Katsuki hasn't seen Aizawa-sensei since he retired at the end of their first year. The old man left, and took with him Katsuki's one pillar of support as he struggled with recovering from his extensive injuries after the war.
Katsuki shut it away. Didn't think about it. Not worth thinking about, he's fucking stronger than that.
But when Aizawa's name comes up in conversation a couple of years later, Katsuki's curiosity gets the better of him.
