Summary

Jeon Jeongguk, blind and cursed from birth but marked as a dragon rider for the kingdom, has struggled for years to bond with a dragon from the Balam Range - until he crosses paths with a rogue dragon outside of the dragon king's watchful eye, and the bond is instantaneous. Suddenly, Jeongguk finds himself as the outlier with a dragon who only plays nice for his rider's sake. then jeongguk says, “i would like to apologize, but i don’t believe i am who you think i am.” he looks at yoongi, still confused as ever. “my name is jeon jeongguk. i’m the personal guard of prince min yoongi, the second son of the king and queen of the kingdom of great joseon. when i fell asleep last night, it was the year 1719. i seem to have… traveled here by some form of magic.”
jeongguk looks at him like he’s meant to have some answer for that. but yoongi can only stare at jeongguk, replaying the words back in his head. and then, once the silence has stretched on long enough, yoongi begins laughing.
(or: yoongi wakes to find that his boyfriend has been switched with a version of himself from a parallel universe. he also finds that it’s impossible to not love jeongguk, no matter where or when he came from.)

Summary
He’s beautiful, Jungkook thought, his lips parted as his breath caught in his throat. He found himself reaching out to touch, only to be broken out of his trance when the dragon let out another deafening roar. He snatched his hand back, but it was too late. It was directly above him now, two clawed feet reaching out. Its talons dug into his body, and his spine bowed at the sheer force with which he was yanked from the boat. The vessel was reduced to splinters, with torn silks and jewels raining down as he was pulled higher and higher into the air.
Jungkook screamed.
