She had been called down to Emergency for a 6 month old infant boy, the original diagnosis was splinching as he had been apparated in with an injured adult but the minute Hermione looked at him she knew better and immediately cast the counter curse and began healing the open wound on the child’s chest. Someone had cast a sectumsempra on him. The Cutting curse. What sort of person would do that to a baby? It couldn't have been an accident. The hit had been dead on and with a target that small it had to have been deliberate.

Centuries ago, the Targaryen family was divided due to two brothers falling in love with the same woman. This love led to her death, causing the brothers to hate each other so deeply that one of them changed his surname to Malfoy. Over time, the hatred between the two families was passed down from generation to generation.
But our story will focus on the illegitimate daughter of a Targaryen and the heir to the Malfoys. Draco Malfoy vowed revenge on the Targaryen family after they killed his parents, who had chosen to renounce the beliefs of their ancestors. As an act of vengeance, Draco decided to use the illegitimate daughter of Daemon and a prostitute.
Daemon kept the girl hidden, as he loved her deeply and was grateful she did not bear the Targaryen features but instead resembled her mother. However, this changed when Daemon’s third wife, Rhaenyra, married him and took the girl to be raised alongside her brothers.
