Summary
They only discovered that kissing had been invented - and tried and tested - fifty and a hundred years later, respectively, and had both initially thought it looked more uncomfortable than anything. Now, though. He’s seen humans in love, disgustingly in love, who it’d take all the combined forces of Heaven and Hell to separate, who have kissed each other as if air from the other is the only thing that would do anymore. It certainly hadn’t seemed uncomfortable for them.
It doesn’t seem too uncomfortable to Crowley, right now. The longer this split second drags, while Aziraphale smiles at him as if he’s something worth smiling at, the angel’s lips are starting to look like the most comfortable place on Earth.

Apollo nods, and Klavier has to remind himself not to resist when the other man lets go of his hand, taking a single step backwards. “Good. You’re welcome. I mean all of it, y’know?” Then he squints, suddenly skeptical, and it makes Klavier realize how sweaty and red he must look, just like Apollo had been at the doorway. “Are you okay? GL at work today!! (っ˘ω˘ς )’ text has been received, but not opened. “I honestly thought she’d forgotten I’d left.”
The silent moment that follows is only unsettling as she lets it be. Eventually, Nick lets out a slight cough, like he’s preparing for a grand speech, but all he says is, “You know you’re her favorite person, right?”
What? “What?”

Zanka stared at it for what felt like hours, unsure if the feeling in his stomach was him wanting to hit something or him wanting to find a hole to crawl in and never come out of.

Summary
Zanka’s breaths are short and wet– he’s not long for this world. Without his mask and with that gaping wound in his chest, anyone can see that he’s not going to survive more than another minute or so. Jabber sits beside him, giddy with anticipation as he waits for Zanka's inevitable death.
Jabber gets trapped in a time loop where Zanka dies, over and over. It doesn't bother him- he loves the look on Zanka's face as the light fades from his eyes- until he comes to a few realisations about himself, and then it really, really does.
