From the moment he crossed the threshold, all the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. It was like stepping into a vacuum; sound, light, life even, was dulled. Gaon pushed, felt the house shudder awake, pushing back trying to smother him, testing, squeezing.He held firm, frowning, until the pressure gave, and slunk away, the house's curiosity sated for now. Breathing was easy again and Gaon exhaled once, satisfied, the tension seeping out of him.
"Is everything alright?" Mrs Ji asked, concerned. She stood on the base of the stairs, ignorant or unaffected.

Summary
As grateful as Ga On is that Soo Hyun rescued him from Bamboo Spear's violent mob, he can tell she's lying when she claims to have heard about it on the police radio. That explanation just doesn't add up. So Ga On pressures her to tell the truth and, to his surprise, she reveals that Kang Yo Han was the one who sent her.
That one simple admission sets off a series of events that Ga On could never have predicted — events that bring out feelings he's done his best to ignore.

Ga On has always been known for being impulsive to the point of recklessness. But even he can admit that there are certain lines that should never be crossed, since doing so would be both impolite and disrespectful.
Excessively and inappropriately touching your boss is definitely one of those.
And yet, despite knowing that — despite being well aware of how dangerous it is to keep recklessly touching a man like Kang Yo Han — Ga On finds it difficult to stop. He knows he should, if not out of deference to his superior, then for his own sake. He can feel his self-control crumble a little more with each new touch and, in its stead, rises a confusing, breathtaking yearning he's not sure if he's ready to face — much less knows how to handle.
It feels like it's only a matter of time before his resolve shatters entirely.

Summary
Three months have passed since Yo Han's final act of revenge and Ga On is struggling. Despite his best efforts, he hasn't been able to make much progress in straightening out the chaos Yo Han left in his wake. Each day, Ga On grows more and more frustrated, trying not to feel like a complete failure.

To think that only a couple of hours ago he had dreaded Starfleet’s call so much that he would have rather been at an official reception listening to Fitzjames tell stories about his time on the Enterprise.In which The Terror meets Deep Space 9 as Starfleet launches their first fully exploratory mission in the Gamma quadrant. Their first assignment, to determine if an unknown planet could serve as Starfleet’s base for the construction of their first space station in the quadrant.

Charles growls, giving his best lion impression himself. “Why. Are. You. Here.”
“Alright, alright,” the Cat King relents. “So impatient. I thought the British enjoyed making small talk. Or is that just when it’s about the weather?” He makes his way back to the desk. “I have a case for you.”
