There were all the tell tale signs that clearly they had a thing for him. It was a matter as to why nobody has done anything. They were at a stalemate, none of them wanting to be the first to confess their obvious feelings. Kai told him that he should go for it, sure rejection was a plausible factor, but it was up to Soobin and Yeonjun what they did with his feelings.
Nah, he'd rather die than having to do that.

Anyone who is deemed to be more beautiful than Aphrodite will be cursed and stripped off their beauty. Yet, when Beomgyu's eyes lay on the lover of the boy who dares to slander the Goddess of Beauty, he finds himself falling instead.

“You’re so beautiful, do you know that?” the boy murmurs softly. “You’re more beautiful than Aphrodite herself.”
That is enough to incur Beomgyu’s anger. He is vexed by the absolute ignorance of this boy, completely oblivious to the blasphemy he said. How dare he compare Aphrodite’s beauty to a mere mortal? How dare he call a worthless mortal more beautiful than him, the Goddess of Beauty?
Vile. Absolutely fucking vile. It cannot go unpunished. Just wait till he strips the beauty off his lover. The boy will never dare say such words again.
As he is preparing to lay a curse on the boy’s lover, it is then he hears small giggles escape from the lover’s lips. It only serves to feed his rage. Oh? He thinks this is funny?
“Don’t be silly,” the lover says when his giggles have subsided. Beomgyu’s eyes are solely focused on him now. “You’re talking about the Goddess of Beauty.”

“Well, that is a bit of a misconception, little angel,” Kai says, at the same time that Soobin snickers. Beomgyu’s ears burn red with anger (he doesn’t like Soobin at all). “I fuck anything with a cunt, so do not worry,” the smile Kai sends him is saccharine. “You will suffice.”

“Stop calling me friend!” Soobin interrupts, speaking louder than expected. “I don’t want to be your friend. I don’t want to be just friends with both of you!”
Soobin yearns to feel loved by someone, and he knows that falling in love with his two best friends who are probably in love with each other will never lead him to feel this love that he yearns for — except that he's so wrong about his two best friends that the universe decides to slap an opportunity in the shape of their yearly late night drive.
