Blood pooled from four lines, trickling down his cheek and staining Bad’s hand, though his father didn’t seem to notice. “No one has come for you. How long have you been down here? Days, maybe? Yet no one has uttered your name since I’ve brought you here, not even once.”
“You don’t know that,” Sapnap snapped, but deep down he knew it was true. His own father always knew him better than himself. His jabs weren’t just petty insults – they were bitter truths that he’d been trying to convince himself otherwise.

He was in a small, cramped home. It was fairly old, as were the wear and tear on its walls and grounds. A smell of moss and rotting wood hung the air, like an old cottage hidden away in the woods. It was nothing like the crisp, clean quartz bedroom he had in his old mansion. Speaking of which, where is he? Why wasn’t he back at the SMP? How did he even get here?

Tubbo peeled his hand from his mouth, wincing at the blood staining his lips and dripping down his palm. This was the boy that used to go pale at the sight of a sword, but years of hardships had changed him beyond recognition. The boy with the golden heart had turned to coal and dust.
“I’m doing this for them, Tommy,” he gasped, holding his sides with wide, frantic eyes. The front of his coat was splattered with red. “I’m doing this for you.”
Banished from godhood, Tommy learns how fragile being a mortal truly is, and how helpless he had become.

Bad's life revolved around serving Dream. Dream's safety is absolute - even if it means sacrificing all his friendships, and even his own life. It's the life of a familiar, where humans will reign supreme over them. They were nothing but animals - caged things that lived only to serve. But even a tamed lion could only last so long without reaching its breaking point. The same goes for a demon who's been living off scraps of acknowledgement from an evil god, and he'd exhausted the last of his patience.
TLDR: Bad realizes that he's been poisoning all his relationships for the sake of a human who doesn't even want him.

It’s been an abdominal month since Bad sacrificed himself to save Skeppy. It happened in a flash – too quick for anyone to comprehend. At the time, Bad merely smiled at Skeppy, promising to love the egg if given enough time alone, and Skeppy believed it. He wanted his friend to love the Egg as much as he did. He wanted them to stop fighting and be together again. Hence, Skeppy beckoned Sam and Hannah to leave, giving Bad the space he wanted.
That was the worst mistake that Skeppy could ever make in his life.
Skeppy thought if he showed Bad The Egg, he would like it too. Then they could still be best friends and they won’t have to worry about anything coming into their friendship! But it all unravels when Skeppy realizes just how far Bad will go to save him.
