Summary
In a land called Skyloft, the first true hero is born. His name is Link, and he has to go through a lot to be the hero, fighting monsters and all that. But he soon discovers that the scariest monsters are not those of flesh and bone, but those that live in his own head. And that it is oftentimes easier to feel alone, to feel afire, than it is to feel alive.

Summary
With Sam away at school and Dad gone radio silent, Dean has only the Impala to keep him company these days. He is content to spend his time with her on the open road, but when he hits a deer and spins out on the interstate in a heavy storm, he's never felt more alone. As if answering an unspoken prayer, a stranger in a trench coat who's being hunted by a monstrous shadow comes to help him lay the deer and his homesickness to rest.

It was "Witch Weekly", of all people and organizations, the first to notice and comment on The Boy Who Lived’s absence from the ranks of first years at Hogwarts. The magazine went on to elucubrate that the young hero was studying at a foreign school, possibly Beauxbatons or Holzschuhkäse.

Summary
Gale yelps as Astarion's very cold fingers find his midriff. Astarion laughs, burrowing deeper under Gale's robe.
“Ah-ha, Astarion, did you take an ice bath on the way here?” Gale protests.
“Well usually I wake up to somebody very ready to warm me up.” Astarion purrs.
“You know what they say; cold hands, warm heart,” Gale says, absently.
Astarion pinches him, gently.
“Ow!” Gale protests, “What, you're allowed to come and put your hands all over me but I'm not allowed to make comments like that?”
“You can do better, love,” Astarion says, sniffily. “That was practically lazy. I'm afraid I've become accustomed to a much higher calibre of charm.”
“Are you insinuating that I have somehow spoiled you, Astarion?”
“For anyone else, absolutely,” Astarion agrees, sadly.
Shadowheart sighs.
“Glad you two are as disgusting as ever,” she says.Series

Summary
Dean has been procrastinating on his suicide for a long time.
It's been years now, he thinks. Like yet another apocalypse that's been happening silently in the background of all the others the Winchester brothers keep surviving. But this one, this special apocalypse is his own, personal, intimate one.
Mary died a year ago, already. At forty-one, Dean's body has been broken so many times he can't hunt anymore. His relationship with Sam is slowly dying out and Cas only visits once every few weeks.
He's alone.
So he tries to blow his head off. He misses, of course, like the failure he is.
But Cas comes back into his life when he's the most needed. He tends to his wounds and tries to help Dean exhume what's been buried for decades: himself.
What if Dean actually likes talking about his feelings? What if he doesn't want to lie anymore? What if he's not straight? What if he's not who he thought he was?
What if there's still hope?
