Chris had already been notified before it hit the news; Hunnigan had already contacted him, being Leon’s emergency contact, and Chris had to thank the gods that he didn’t believe in that he’d been home and not on his own mission when he received the call. He dropped everything, rushing to the hospital Leon was being airlifted to, his heart pounding in his chest.
