The one leaning against the wall with a faraway look in his eye. The one who appears at night with a smile and one of Hunk's cookies. Who talks about his mom with a fierce, burning love. Who sits in the observatory, a little too close to Keith than necessary, and makes up new constellations.
Keith doesn't understand him.

Summary
After working too long in a soul-crushing corporate job, Keith finally caves to Pidge's insistence on working with them out in the middle of the Great Smoky Mountains. Keith, desperate to regain his artistic inspiration, packs up all his stuff and moves out to a desolate, phone connection-less summer in the mountains with his best friend. Along the way, he stumbles across a mystery that has him hiking all over the forest. The only catch? Pidge didn't mention that he'd be living a twenty mile hike away from them, in a cabin with another ranger - Lance, with the Earth-shattering smile, with the dozens of individually named plants in his garden, with the mediocre cooking abilities, and the magical skills on his guitar. So maybe Keith will rediscover his ability to paint, or maybe Lance will fry all of his nerve-endings before he's able to. Who knows?
Alternate description: A brief obsession with Firewatch and a few too many google searches got me really invested in the Smoky Mountains, and here we are.

Lance had taken to lugging the transmission camera with him wherever he walked in the lion. This time, he pointed the camera into Blue's interior panels, pointing out little modifications he had made over the past few months. All with Blue's consent, of course. Any moved plugs, wires he had stripped and reconnected, a modified panel insert.
"Just thought you guys should know how to work Blue when you find her again. In case I’m… not here.”

The Galra were always coming up with new types of tech. The team did their best to adapt. But, when a new ship pops into existence in the middle of battle, everything goes wrong, and Lance disappears.
The team strains against the hole Lance left in Voltron. Lance, trapped in his lion on an unknown planet, tries his very best to stay sane.

It also contains Gay As Shit Adora and even, if you can believe it, Gay As Shit Catra, too.

Summary
Lance returns to Keith’s bag, sets himself slowly to his knees as he opens the main compartment. He starts talking about something, laughing, but Keith doesn’t register what he says as his sleeve slips slightly over the smooth arc of his shoulder. Keith can’t help the groan that escapes him.
“Lance,” he says, pleads, and Lance stops his cheery little story. In the silence, Keith takes in how ruffled and open Lance has become, no doubt due to the alcohol. He’s a little breathless, cheeks and shoulders flushed a deep pink, and Keith lets out a long, drawn out sigh. “You’re killing me.”
Lance stiffens slightly. He looks up, meets Keith’s gaze. He’s wearing the same expression he always does when he’s confused—the pinched brows, the small jut of his lower lip as he pouts. Lance doesn’t even know he does it, and to Keith, that makes it all the more endearing.
“What do you mean?” he asks quietly.
“Killing me,” Keith whispers, rests his head in his hands.
