Bucky gently laid Peter down on the bed, taking extra care with his head, before stepping back. When he heard the doctors rushing down the hall towards their room, he instinctively moved to the corner out of the way and out of sight. Tony still stood there, clutching Peter’s hand, but he glanced up at the man in the corner long enough to whisper “Thank you,” before the room was filled with medical staff.
Peter would be okay. He just had to be.

OR the one where omega!Peter is in a group home at the start and his health is in a terrible state. Tony decides he needs to do something and adopts little Petey Pie, moving him into the tower with some of the other Avengers. Will Peter be their surrogate son? Of course. Does he know that's how everyone sees him? Of course not. And why is one grumbly super soldier always hovering and growling at everyone who looks Peter's way? Weird.
Also, In walks Harley Keener (at some point). Smooth talking southern alpha that somehow knows Tony. Peter's intrigued, but will the grumbly super soldier let the other boy near him? We'll see.

And under that, in a delicate scrawl of purple crayon, the following sentence:
“It’s all I have in my piggy bank right now. But we can do an IOU if you need more.”
or; it’s been three years since Peter asked Strange to complete the spell that would erase him from everyone’s memory. Three years without anyone knowing him. Three years, all alone. All alone, that is, until he finds the poster advertising a reward for anyone with information on Peter Parker, with a note clearly written by a child.
alternatively; Doctor Strange erased everyone’s memories. Everyone’s, it seems, except for Morgan Stark’s.

Peter Parker is alive, but he really doesn't feel like it. He only vaguely realizes that every day he wakes up and goes to sleep, breathes, and eats as if he's falling from a never-ending cliff. The wind on his face and on his fingertips. Peter is falling, and he is sure no one will be there to catch him. After all, if a tree falls down and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

After the events of NWH, Peter is all alone in a big city, feeling emptier and more drained than ever. However, for the first time, fate seems to agree with him as he realizes a mishap in the multiverse resulted in Mr. Stark reappearing in his reality, alive and well. Maybe, just maybe, Peter thinks, someone will finally hear the echoes of the fallen trees.
