Maxwell’s chronic pain gets worse in the winter. The day after they fight Deerclops, he’s not doing well. He goes against Wilson’s orders to rest and ends up making it even worse. Because of the cold and the pain, his joints start locking up. It reminds him too much of the throne, and he freaks out. Thankfully, Wilson is there to help him once again.
