Summary
Special Agent Rio Vidal is always in control, a rule follower as well as a damn good agent, that is until the Witch Killer case lands on her desk.
Now, she must deal with not one but three serial killers in the greater Boston area who might be linked. The bodies keep piling up, and it doesn’t help that the extremely hot Professor of the occult in the form of one Agatha Harkness seems to thoroughly enjoy pushing all her buttons.

Summary
On a random, depressing day. In a bar the brokenhearted professor Rio Vidal knows all too well, she sees a woman. Or as she describes her in her head, an ethereal being, the painter Agatha Harkness—a woman whose mere presence sobered Rio up, then made her drunk again for an entirely different reason.
Can Rio—a woman who doubts her self-worth, who believes she's undeserving of love—handle holding the door open for someone as delicate and willing as Agatha?
And if she does, can she handle letting her in afterward?

Summary
Pregnant.
Rio stares at the readout panel on the blue and white stick clutched in her trembling hands for a long, terror-soaked, nausea-filled moment.
This cannot be happening.
Rio puts the test back down on the bathroom counter. Closes her eyes. Counts to ten. And gives the damn thing a mean little shake after blindly fumbling for it before daring to open her eyes to check result again, just in case.
Nope. Still pregnant. Oh, fuck.
“No, Lilia,” she mouths to herself, mockingly echoing her own earlier words. They’d been having breakfast earlier when Rio had found herself chucking up Cheerios in the sink for the fourth day running. That’s when the woman she all but considered to be her mother had decided it was time to gently offer her thoughts on what might be causing Rio’s recent bout of sudden and inexplicable chocolate Cheerio-intolerance. “Of course I’m not pregnant. The last person I slept with was my very female boss but oh, wait!” The script flips as Rio’s voice veers towards mild hysteria. “I forgot that we’re witches who pulled that dumbass stunt while drunk on Beltane!”

A magical accident happens. Chaos follows.

Summary
“I don’t believe you. You prefer me—“
“Compliant?” Rio stood slowly, her eyes never leaving Agatha’s face. The action put her inches away, her body heat radiating out, searing Agatha’s skin. “Obedient?”
Agatha’s hips shifted against her will, her lips parting slightly. She closed her eyes against the heady mortification that razed through her chest. She felt Rio move closer and she parted her legs without thought.
Rio stepped between them but didn’t touch, hands settling on the desk inches from Agatha’s hips and hands.
“You always were such a brat.” Rio’s breath was hot against Agatha’s ear, her voice throaty and raw and filthy. “You never knew how to do what you were told.”
Or: After five years away, a still-grieving Agatha is dragged back into the FBI and the arms of her ex-wife.
