So BTS went to a restaurant near their hotel in Seoul, as Jimin and Jungkook had a dance practice early that afternoon, they had agreed on eating after it, they just had a drink with the boys before leaving them.
When Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Tae and Hoseok came back to their hotel suite that evening, Jimin and Jungkook were supposed to be there but the note they found instead made them realize Jimin and Jungkook never made it back to the hotel.

Everyone thought it had been a good idea for Jungkook to go home visit them. After all, he hadn’t seen them for almost two years and must have missed them a lot.
(He didn’t, but how would they know something he was too embarrassed to tell)
He went alone to visit his parents after bidding Jimin goodbye as he also took the opportunity to visit his own family. Something told Jungkook Jimin was the only one looking forwards to this.
