He doesn't consider it an 'eating disorder', but his eating habits are extremely disordered and his thoughts are no better. That doesn't concern him though, his only concern is that his efforts pay off in the end.
Or, one day Alfred decides he looks fat and is determined to change that. Through whatever means necessary...

Summary
Nick Carraway, instead of staying with Tom and Jordan during that disastrous outing they had, chose instead to leave early with Gatsby and Daisy that day. Fortunately he did, managing to wrench the steering wheel to swerve the car away from hitting Myrtle.
Unfortunately for Nick, seat belts were not yet implemented in his era. As a result, he was flung out of the vehicle.
Follow Gatsby as he takes responsibility for Nick when no one else was willing to, taking him in and caring for him as he recovers. When Nick finally wakes, Gatsby discovers he has no memory of the incident.
Or of anything at all.
