“Oh shut up- I've graduated from college. I'm a grown man.” Harry rolled his eyes, leaning back in his chair, arms crossing over his chest.
Louis watched him for a moment, eyes darting across his knitted sweater, falling onto his hair that was brushing the tops of his shoulders. He did look young, and Louis was really trying to stop himself from noticing how pretty he was.

Harry stopped, his hand hovering over the ceramic teapot. Slowly, almost magnetically, Louis’s eyes finally lifted. For the first time in what felt like absolute centuries, Louis looked directly at him. He looked straight into Harry’s eyes.
Harry caught his breath, his heart leaping into his throat. He waited for the familiar sequence—the way Louis’s gaze used to automatically drift down to Harry's lips, lingering there with a heavy, possessive warmth before snapping back up. It was a habit Louis had never been able to break since the day they met.
