Peter Parker marries Wade Wilson for perfectly respectable reasons that have nothing to do with feelings. Nope, no feelings involved here whatsoever, unless you count Peter’s massive crush on his husband.

    Summary

Deadpool and Spider-Man encounter a powerful magical being in the New York night. It goes about as well as you'd expect:

“Make your wish,” she orders again, and her voice echoes with a thousand other voices.
“Any wish within those rules?” Deadpool asks the woman, sounding interested. “I wish Spidey were in love with me!”
Spider-Man turns to him sharply. “What? What kind of a stupid—“
“That way, you’d be a lot nicer to me,” Deadpool interrupts defensively.
    The woman nods once.
“So it shall be,” she says.

    Summary

Wade meets Peter first and Spider-Man second but comes to the obvious conclusion anyway: Peter Parker must be the secret flame Spidey is trying to protect with the whole secret-identity shebang. While Deadpool might be morally lax in many ways, he is not a homewrecker, even if Peter is all soft smiles and doe-eyes.

    Summary

For reasons Wade doesn't quite understand, Spider-Man has taken a liking to him, which is wonderful because he's been smitten with Spidey since he first saw him... except Wade is Wade and Spidey must be a little bit delusional to want to be around him.

That's alright though, Wade hasn't been sane for a long time either and he's not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
