“Aw, you almost sound worried Spidey.” Deadpool coos in reply, the back of his gloved hand smearing the blood over his busted lip and jaw. “It’s nothing a little regeneration won’t fix.”
It hadn't quite struck him that the man felt pain the pain of it all, he seemed to walk right into danger and accept the violence and pain that awaited him. Seeing him now, bleeding for him in a bid to save Peter from injury he wonders why such sentiments hadn't stuck before this had occurred. And maybe he had been hit in the head on that fall, because the sight of him bloodied and arrogant only served a reminder that he often pretending not to sense. That the power Wade held himself with was enticing.
Peter shakes his head as if to dislodge the stray traitorous thought. “Obviously. Just making sure.”

After a mission goes unexpectedly south, Deadpool comes to protect Spiderman and that was the start of a slew of confusing and conflicting emotions he brought out in Peter. Did his recent missions with Wade only encourage the other man that they were friends? Better yet, was Deadpool actually stalking Peter or was that just his anxiety of this mess?
