“What are you doing here?” Aerion asks. He feels like the stones of Summerhall are crumbling beneath his feet, the floor tilting away.
Dunk looks up from where Maegor and Rhaenyra are crowding around his feet, the smile slowly slipping off his face. He looks just as horrified as Aerion feels. “You—you invited me.”
Aerion bites his tongue so hard he tastes copper. They promised. Not in front of the children.
It doesn’t matter. He can see from Dunk’s expression that he recognizes the lie in what he just said.
Seven hells. He is going to kill Aegon.
Or, Aerion attempts to survive Christmas with his ex-husband, their children, and his meddling family.

Summary
A 17 year old girl heading back to her dorm with heavy luggage and a guitar falls asleep at the airport while waiting for her delayed flight.
She wakes up in the Seven Kingdoms and promptly latches onto the one familiar, inherently good person she knows of: Ser Duncan the Tall.
Very confused by the whole situation, she decides to just roll with it until she wakes up and finally catches that flight.
(This idea has been haunting me ever since Dunk and Egg came out, so I decided to put it out there. Warning: Lowkey literary Y/N-ism.)

Maekar grunted. His lips twisted as though he had tasted something not to his liking. “Then who did you spread your legs for? Some twittering lord or worse some squire who had not learned pleasure until you seduced the boy?”
Alyssane cut him off. “If I did not know better, I would think you jealous.”

“Prince Lucerys is correct.” The dragonkeeper says. “He is actually behaving quite the opposite, in fact. It rather seems he is trying to nest them — I got close enough to see that he had curled himself around them both and was attempting to feed them by his own mouth.”
Aemond and Lucerys stare at him, confused. “Nesting?” The omega repeats.
“Yes, nesting. It is not usual for dragons in his condition but his manner of doing so has left both Vhagar and Dreamfyre rather displeased, for lack of a better word.”
Lucerys was behaving strangely. Stranger than normal, that is.
