It should have worked.
They made it to the Heart. Adora woke up. They opened their hearts.
They kissed.
And then she was gone.
Catra had felt the weight of her - the warmth of her, in her hands. In her arms. There was a blinding light, and then:
Nothing.
No She-Ra.
No Adora.
Nothing but emptiness remained in the chamber of the Heart of Etheria.
After the kiss, Adora vanishes. Catra struggles to deal with the loss. She finds a book of letters that Adora has written to her over the course of their time apart (at the behest of Perfuma), and through them begins a journey to understanding the girl she loved and perhaps some self-discovery of her own.
