It's Valentines day, the lovers Shidou and Sae spend it together. Though one is unaware of the feelings the other harbours towards the holiday.

The moment ran over him like water, and the next thing he knew, he was sitting on the bathroom counter, being gently dried by Ryusei. Ryusei kneeled on the damp tiles, towelling down his legs. There was a crease in his brow, from confusion, concern—it was hard to tell. Everything felt fuzzy; maybe it was the softness of the moment, maybe it was the steam, but Sae felt out of it.
He broke out of his trance when Ryusei placed a kiss on the arch of his foot, then the ball of his ankle, then up his calf. He looked up at Sae, brushing his lips against his knee. Sae's hand stroked through his hair, and he closed his eyes. “Sae, what’s going on? You’ve been off all day, quieter than usual, clingier than usual.” Ryusei's eyes searched his, and he averted his gaze.
“Sae, please.”
“…I hate Valentine's Day,” He murmured.

“This cage is too small for you, isn't it?” He said in lieu of a response. The voice was smooth, almost bored, it made the hair on Shidou’s neck stand up.
Shidou didn’t answer, he was too fascinated by the cool teal eyes that looked at him like he was nothing more than fresh prey.The man continued, “I’ll set you free, but I want your ego in return.” He said as he leaned in, they’re faces only inches apart. Shidou could feel his breath just beyond the muzzle strapped over his mouth and it almost made him dizzy. Hot.
Shidou isn't used to people being able to keep up with him. If only there was a handsome, magenta-haired, long lashed, midfielder who was able to match him in every way possible.
