Summary
Seeing someone you care about die repeatedly wasn’t something a person could get used to, even if they miraculously never stayed dead.

Summary
“A drinking game, duh… something fun that’ll let us get to know each other a little better. Share our dirty secrets, craziest stories, weirdest thing we’ve ever been caught doing… The naughtier the better.” Margo winks.
“An icebreaker, Bambi? How pedestrian.” Eliot sighs.
Hopefully he can make it through this without the others discovering that a certain someone holds status as an urban legend in his hometown. Maybe he’ll get lucky and make it through another night without being recognized.

They were going to get Quentin back. All they had to do was face his best and worst memories of them, as a group. Simple enough, right?

Summary
Quentin wasn’t really sure what made him ask. They had been at the mosaic for years now, and the purpose of their task wasn’t something that either of them constantly thought of anymore. It hadn’t been for a long time. But as they both lay in bed after yet another long day of placing tiles in apparently meaningless patterns and caring for their son, Quentin couldn’t help but put words to the random thought.
“Do you think we’ll ever make it back?”

Summary
“I don’t know what’s wrong with me, Rozy.” That was a lie; he knew perfectly well what was wrong with him, he just wouldn’t admit it to himself. “I thought therapy would help, and I also thought winning the cup would help, but I guess we’re both just too fucked in the head for that.” Ilya laughs softly, nodding.

Summary
“Listen,” Daniel shifted, his white coat creasing at the elbows. “He's enamored... With the idea of being a firefighter, that is.” Daniel filled in as though Eddie had asked for more information.
“Daniel.” Maddie said in a stern, curt tone. “Stop it.”
“I just think he should know.” Daniel gestured lazily, but defended passionately. “Evan can't do it.”
--
Three things happen pretty quickly in Eddie’s life: he moves to Boston, he meets a bar manager, and in falling in love with him and all of his mysteries, learns how to fall in love with his life again.
Or the story of breaking the glass to get to the other side.

Summary
Evan Buckley was born with the singular purpose of saving his older brother. And it works: the cells graft and Daniel's cancer goes into remission. Instead of becoming a grim secret that haunts his family for years to come, Daniel lives.
In some ways, it makes all the difference.
In other ways, it doesn't make any difference at all.

Summary
Eddie nearly drops their takeout when Marisol suggests it: “We should plan a double date.”
He repositions the bag of food and unlocks his door, letting Marisol in first and giving himself a few seconds to respond. “I don’t know that they’re really the double date kind.” He himself surely isn’t and the idea of joining Buck and Tommy specifically is even less appealing.
~
AKA the one where Marisol and Tommy end up third and fourth wheeling on their own dates.
