    Pro hero Katsuki Bakugou is #10 on the charts. He just so happens to also be the #1 underground boxer.

    If you were to ask him how he was doing, he'd say he was fine no matter how much that seemed to be a lie. His life was fine, if not a little monotonous.

    Until the scrawny grown-up Izuku Midoriya who he hasn’t seen in 10 years shows up at his house, asking for boxing lessons.

    Katsuki knows that Izuku doesn’t remember him. Not after the villain attack he had been in at 14 years old fucked up his memory. His parents moving them to another city right after that had been like kicking a downed man.

    Now, at 25 years old, he’d still never tried to reconnect with him. Weighed down by the guilt of how he’d treated him and unable to apologize to someone who didn’t know him.

    So, against all better judgement, he takes Izuku on as his only boxing student, indulging in his selfish desire to get to know him again. Putting his entire routine and life into a blender. Which is fine, he could use something new to look forward to.

    There’s just one thing Katsuki can’t seem to ignore.

    Izuku’s boyfriend pisses him off.

    Katsuki can do nothing but blink up at them for moments that feel like an eternity, eyes darting between both his parents in obvious confusion, disbelief, and, more than anything, indignation.
    "What the fuck are you two talking about? The damn nerd is standing right beside you!"

     

     

    During a battle, Midoriya gets hit by a villain whose quirk detaches his soul from his body. Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan.

    Alternatively: Deku and Kacchan are soulbound.

    “Dynamight!” Someone shouted, running towards him and immediately tugging on his arm to lead him to the commotion.

    “Hey! Chill out!” He shouted, but his heart completely stopped when he saw a pile of clothes on the floor. A pile of clothes that was his best friend’s hero costume.

    “Eiji--Red?” He asks, fear clear in his voice.

    An older woman comes towards him, and he grows confused as to why he's being handed a small kid, wrapped up in a jacket, with jet black hair and red…

    “Eijiro?” He asks again, bittersweet relief flooding down his chest.

    Eijiro gets hit with a quirk that turns him into a kid. Can Katsuki take care of him while also navigating the hurt feelings between him and his best friend?

    This is a dream, Yuji tells himself for the umpteenth time that day. Partially to talk himself from the edge of panic—because if he thinks about the possibility of time travel any longer he’s going to have a full blown meltdown— and partially to rationalize why he’s trying to coax Sukuna out of his hiding place with no intentions of harming him.

    It’s Sukuna. Yuji should be jumping at the opportunity to get rid of him and saving the world from the King of Curses.

    But this Sukuna is also only a child, and his eyes are large and blue and so utterly resigned that it sends a sharp stab of protectiveness straight through Yuji’s core.

    “It’s only me,” he tries again, forcing his shoulders to relax and his spine to lose some of the stiff tension, “You’re safe now. I won’t hurt you.”
