Summary
Returning to the land of living wasn’t the hard part. Actually it was surprisingly easy, accidental to be honest. However transition from being alive to living was anything but easy. Returning to being a true living person again was a long road and maybe making it a real road was a good idea.
However, Sirius never expected that he would not be alone in his journey, that some young witch felt nearly as broken as him. Definitely an unexpected pair, but they not only made it work they even managed to find happiness, on the road and in each other.

After his sudden, unexpected and unexplained return from beyond the Veil, Sirius had to learn how to live once again, which proved to be somehow harder than after the Azkaban. The constant pressure from the press and the Ministry made him realise that had to take a break from Great Britain and fulfilling his dream from his youth seemed like a great idea. However, back then he always imagined that on his epic road trip through the USA he would be accompanied by his friends and not by Hermione who was running just like him.
Well unplanned and unexpected didn’t mean unwanted and it was good that Sirius liked surprises, because his life would become full of them.Series
