Dazai thinks, for a moment, that he might not ever get to feel things, or see the world the way most people do, or find a reason to live. But he can live for this, for him. For this boy. He does not care about birds or parks or trees or people, does not feel all that much when he sees the sunrise or sunset or the stars and the moon. He does not like dogs or children. He does not like the world.
But he likes Chuuya. He likes the way Chuuya looks when he is looking at all these things.

The text sits there on her phone, neat and casual and devastating.
She’s standing right outside the restaurant she was supposed to meet Chiwa at. She waited for thirty minutes. Thirty long, humiliating minutes, checking the door every time it opened, flinching every time someone brushed past her. And then it started to rain. And then—like it was waiting for the right moment to really twist the knife—the text came.
Rudo doesn't know what she’s supposed to feel.
Disappointment, yes. That’s there, heavy and obvious. Understanding, too—of course Chiwa has more important things to do than remember a date with Rudo. And anger. Sharp, biting anger directed squarely at herself for actually thinking she was getting somewhere. For letting herself believe that maybe this time was different.
(Or: Rudo experiences what has got to be one of the worst days of her life, and—just when she thinks it can’t get any worse—she gets caught dumpster diving. Just great.)

In this fanfiction, Rudo was Enjin’s savior, and he used Alto’s name( because I was thinking Rudo saved Enjin when I wrote this lolIn the long-lost story, the twilight star Alvin fell for a mortal. The wandering wolf picked up the white bird with its wings cut off and protected it as a wolf cub until the bird's wings became full again, showing the wolf the way in front as before.
