Summary
Charlie and the Hazbins emerged victorious against Adam’s army, still standing after a battle with Heaven itself with the unsettling proof that angels can bleed. But the victory didn’t come clean. It came at a devastating cost, paid in blood, grief, and the loss of the young Sir Pentious.
In the aftermath, the Hazbin Hotel fills faster than ever. Demons pour in from every corner of Hell, drawn by rumors of Heaven’s defeat and the promise of safety. To Charlie’s growing horror, many of these new guests aren’t here to change—they want revenge. As Hell grows volatile, the Vees twist fear and fury toward Heaven for their own gain.
Leadership weighs heavily on Charlie, especially when so many of the Hazbins are children. Souls far too young to deserve damnation look to her not just as Hell’s princess, but as their protector. With Vaggie and Lucifer beside her, Charlie struggles to hold herself together. Can she really protect her dream has already cost someone their life?
Above it all, Heaven begins to unravel. Buried truths surface, fractured memories return, and Paradise cracks under the weight of its own cruelty-and Sera can only watch as it starts to burn.

Summary
Soul contracts. Tying one's essence to another and ensuring that it cannot escape. Trapping the contractee into a cage with no way out. The other, equally horrible option is to have a soul stolen from the one it belonged to. Leaving them to rot with someone who could exploit them to their own ends.
Out of the two evils, Vaggie would rather take the former. With someone she knows well, of course. The Princess of Hell.
But said princess is appalled by the idea. In her desperation to find a solution to this problem, she stumbles across an old ritual that her father had made, in Hell's infancy.
