“Fine fine fine, but come on, it’s fun to run around here isn’t it? You and Deep Cut like doing that right?” Callie’s steps pitter pattered into a slow and amused stop.
“Sure we do! But usually we’re actually admirin’ the views here and not just chasin’ around!” Frye sighed, a little at a loss. First Callie was sad. Then she was mad. Then she was happy. She just wanted her to slow down and just— Frye crossed her arms a bit, “Taking a moment to stop and poke the rose thorns is important y’know! At least I think it is...”
“I don’t think that’s the correct phrase, maybe it’s another Inkadia vs Splatlands thing.” Callie mused to herself, tapping her finger to her lips before smiling, “But aren’t we having fun anyways? Wasn’t this fun?”
“I mean yeah! I always have fun with you...”
Beneath the panel-ed sky of Alterna, Callie and Frye find themselves in a paused moment of time unlike any Callie had ever let herself be in before.

Three would like to make one thing clear: she did not instigate the fistfight. Never, in her 16 suspensions from Turf War, has she ever tried to attack another player with anything other than the weapon in her hands. A head tap here and there with the butt of her Splattershot when she was out of ink, sure, but she’s not the type to escalate into full-on brawling just because she’s feeling cornered.
All that to say, the scramble itself? Not her fault.
(The underlying reason why it devolved into fisticuffs in the first place is, admittedly, a different matter entirely.)
