Summary
Henry, finds himself growing bored with Jane Seymour’s increasingly dull company, and seeks a diversion. By chance, he sees George Boleyn setting off on a ride and impulsively invites him to join a hunting excursion.
What begins as simple camaraderie soon takes a turn when Henry fully sees George—the striking Boleyn beauty, the easy charm, the sharp wit—the same things that had drawn him to Mary, then Anne. At first, he convinces himself that George is simply preferable company, but the more time he spends with him, the more he finds himself drawn in. He does not recognize the nature of his own attraction at first, only that he increasingly wants George near him.

Summary
