Edwin stood rooted to the spot, his mouth went dry, and even if he could speak all words suddenly seemed lost to him. The Cat King, spinning a coat tassel in his hand, strolls closer. Edwin kept his eyes trained on the man’s face, carefully avoiding the miles of uncovered skin. Even though Edwin was fully and completely clothed, he had never felt more exposed. Arthur could feel how heavily Merlin was breathing beneath him, with each rise and fall of his chest, his neckerchief became just the tiniest bit undone, exposing the long expanse of his neck underneath.
