Summary
It’s raining, again. The stench of death hangs over the bridge, heavy and cloying, clinging to the metal railings. Propped up against them, staring at Shinichi with unseeing eyes, is the body of the woman he’s been searching for: Miura Aiko. She’s been missing for three weeks, haunting the edges of Shinichi’s vision, but finding her now is a hollow victory. Especially like this, with horror stamped across her pale features.

The year is 2156, and Tokyo has succumbed to the rising tides of global warming; in a near-future ocean metropolis made of boats and bridges, Shinichi is a private detective about to hit his biggest case. A serial killer is on the loose, and when Shinichi begins to investigate those involved, all signs point to the government building that might maintain all levels, even those beneath the surface. When intel surfaces that the towers may host human experimentation, Shinichi can't idly sit by. To break into such a high-security place, he will need help from a mysterious thief known only as The Diver.

Summary
Ivan collects the papers in his hands and quickly scans through the notes, melody catching in his head. The song is good and well thought-out, as are all of Till’s compositions. What’s jarring to him is the lyrics. There’s the usual Till-flavored angst, and then there’s the downright misery held in these lines that turns Ivan to ice. Then, what spikes absolute terror into his core is… “This song is suited to my strengths.” Ivan says.
Ever think about how Cure sounds like an Ivan-typical song and not one for Till? i did.

Dropping the mic sounds out like a death knell to him; the final nail in his soon to be made coffin. Ivan’s long since made peace with the maw of the void, so stepping up to its open mouth isn’t why he’s afraid.
What actually scares Ivan, is having to live with the consequences.

However, the Lukas family wishes to be crystal clear that our continued investment is contingent upon the Institute taking its responsibilities with regards to privacy and confidentiality seriously.
The Magnus Institute hires a Data Protection Officer. He sets about diligently booking in meetings, writing policy documents, and training all the staff in the importance of confidentiality. Now if only he could get hold of the Head Archivist, who seems to have vanished again...
(Jon is only trying to save the world, but apparently some people think he should still be doing his day job.)
